Sassys Sugar
OUR HORSES
Sassy is an APHC registered Appaloosa Mare. Foaled April 23, 1993. Sassy has been trained/shown western pleasure, she and Melissa have taken many blue ribbons and championships. Melissa has done all of Sassy's training. We are very proud of them, they make quite the team. Sassy stands about 14.3 hands.

Whiskey is a registered Paint gelding, born 5/4/09. Whiskey is Melissa's baby, she choose the mare and the stallion and in return got this BEAUTIFUL colt. Melissa had hoped for a colorful filly but did not send him back!!!  This boy has his mom's wonderful temperament and is looking more like her every day. Whiskey is out of Ann's  mare "Lady" Tonys Torino Flash and by a beautiful paint stallion, Scenic Zipaloot.                  

Dixie is a registered Quarter Horse mare, born 4/7/03. Dixie is a very sweet mare who has adopted Melissa. We were hoping to see Dixie be the one who got Melissa back into the show ring but do to a bone chip off her coffin bone Dixie has been retired as a pet' Unless we can win megabucks so as to send her for surgury Dixie has a retirement home with us. Dixie is trained both english and western. She has a beautiful big floaty trot for english or a really nice little jog for western.  Dixie has great blood lines, we hope to breed her in the future.

Myia is a registered Appaloosa mare born 5/8/03.  Myia has a lot of western pleasure training and is a real pleasure to ride. Melissa has nick named Myia "Turtle" because of her very slow way of going. Myia stands 15.3 hands. She is out of A Barkeepers Dream and by Machos Ace. What a ham!!!!

Honey is an AHR registered Haflinger Mare. Foaled Febuary 7,1998. Honey is a wonderful lesson horse for any rider, she is our number one lesson horse. A great brood mare, one of our best trail horses, she goes over and threw anything with out hesitation. Honey stands about 14.1 hands. Honey will win your heart in no time flat, she is a wonderful mare.

Messenger is an AHR registered and inspected Haflinger gelding. Foaled March 14, 1999. He stands 14 hands. This is not just one beautiful boy but his personality is exceptional, he is a real love. He is currently being leased buy one of Brookside's kids. they are awesome together.

Lady is an AQHA registered Quarter Horse mare. Foaled June 1st 1997. Lady is our super sweet mare who has been in our family since she was a three year old. Lady stands 15.3, she is a nice big boned old style Qh.  Lady is truly the western horse and the best trail horse you could ever ask for. Lady does a few lessons and occasionally does a lesson with SVTRC. Her sweet easy going personality has her as one of Brookside's favorites

Soxy is a AMHR registered Miniature Horse gelding.  Foaled April 23rd 2007. Soxy is a super sweet little guy who won Ann's heart right from their first meeting. Soxy loves to be in the show ring, he has that look at me I'm super cute attitude and it shines through. He also loves showing off his tricks, anything for some attention. He is such a little ham. Soxy stands 34.25 inches tall.

Jayne is a AMHR registered Miniature Horse mare. Foaled May 6th 2005. Jayney is a sweet little girl who has touched the hearts of many. She has ben a big part of our day camps, giving the kids all a chance to learn about driving. Jayne is currently being leased by our Tanya. You can expect to see them in the show ring together this coming summer. Jayne stands34.75 inches tall

Cindy is an AHR registered Haflinger mare. Foaled May 5th 2000. Cindy is a very special little mare that has just been returned to us from a very special young lady who is moving on with school and such. A part of Cindy will always be Mal's and we hope to have her here visiting as often as she can. In the mean time Cindy has rejoined our lesson program and has quickly become the favorite of a couple of our kids, our Matt included. Cindy stands 14.1 hands.

Jack is a registered spotted draft gelding. Foaled May 10th 2002. Jack is a big baby who won our hearts right from the start. Having just joined us this winter we are working on just where he fits into our programs. Our plans will be for him to be a walk trot lesson horse under saddle and we are really looking forward to driving him. Look forward to sharing this special boy with all our students who I know will love him.. Jack stands about 16.3
Norfleets Mr Smoke

Pete is a APHA registered Paint gelding. Foaled February 25th 2003. Shortly after Pete arrived here this winter it was pretty obvious that he was meant to be Shawn's horse. Pete picked Shawn as much as Shawn picked Pete. They have started their journey learning together. We plan to spend the winter just on ground work letting them bond more and get to know each other. Look forward to seeing this team come summer. Pete stands about 15.2 hands
Mc Adain Peanut

Carrot is an AHR registered Haflinger gelding. Foaled April 14th 2003. Carrot is one very special horse. He joined our family last winter and no one is safer or more solid then this sweet boy. Carrot does it all. He has become a regular in our lesson program and is also leased by SVTRC and is as steady and reliable for them as can be. Carrot is rock solid as a trail horse. We feel very blessed to have this boy as part of our family. Carrot stands 14 hands
