ADULT CAMP
A serious education with a relaxed supportive friendly atmosphere for a true positive equine experience we'll be focusing on developing the tools to have a confident working relationship with your horse. Individual attention for all students Fall dates to be posted soon You will arrive Friday after 4:00, pizza party at 6:00 with good conservation about your horse and about your individual concerns. Saturday 9:00 to 5:00 Sunday 9:00 to 4:00 Bring your horse or use one of Brookside's boarding with stall or horse rental included in the price. (you bring your horse's grain) Any one with a camper my bring it and stay with no hookups right at the stable there are many nice inns and restaurants near by we could do a group outing for dinner Saturday night, pay your own way??? a mid morning snack and lunch are included Here are some of the things we will be going over: 1) Bits and biting - the how's and whys 2) Understanding and using training equipment - the how's and whys 3) Bio mechanics of riding - the horse and rider 4) Understanding lateral movement - shoulder in, hunches in, leg yields. 5) Equine conformation - for discipline use; breed study hands on 6) Rider Body awareness - exercises for riding - move it or loose it! 7) Understanding the physiology of the rider - special to the adult; attention to fear, confidence and specific problems. 8) Long lining- do's and don'ts and why's
