Brookside Stables

We are  located on Rt.100 N. in  Wilmington Vt.

Brookside Stables is a family owned and operated business, started in 1997 and currently run by 3 generations. Owner Ann Brown, her daughter Melissa, along with  Ann's dad, Stanley Cross have a lifetime of experience with horses. This passion for horses in the family has encouraged  the stable's rapid growth from 3 horses to an average of 27 horses. A true family favorite is the Austrian born Haflinger horse, and currently this breed is being used in the lesson program as well as  for wagon and sleigh rides. In addition to standing a Haflinger stallion, and offering his beautiful foals for sale, the stable also provides quality, safe riding and driving horses for sale. Stop by and meet the beautiful Golden Horses of Brookside Stables, the family loves to show them off!!!

Messenger & Audrey getting ready to enter the ring

Messenger looked like a million bucks but the judges said, a bit to much roaning in his coat. they loved his type, his beautiful head and his movement.  We missed silver by two points!!  The judges said continue breeding this nice looking stud. This guy is still gold in our eyes. Thanks Audrey for taking Messenger through the inspection, you looked so good together.
