MELISSA IS TAKEN THIS 2026 YEAR OFF FROM TEACHING AS SHE IS DEVODING ALL HER TIME INTO RENOVATING WHAT WAS HER GRANDPARENTS HOUSE, WHICH HER AND HER HUBBY WILL CALL HOME HOPEFULLY BY NEXT YEAR 

Riding before she could walk, Melissa started her first training project when she was 11 years old. Shortly thereafter she began helping with the lesson program and camps at Brookside. Melissa teaches both disciplines and is now the number one instructor at Brookside. Her lifelong passion for horses, her eye for detail and her unlimited patients only list a fraction of what she brings to her students. Regardless of your age or your goals you will find her teaching to be just what you'd hoped for. She is also very talented at finishing and polishing both riders and horses for the show ring. When she can find a few extra minutes in her day she can be found working with her QH Drifter doing liberty work.  Melissa is an incredibly talented instructor and trainer.
